Justin gave me his Denon headphones for the day. I have them plugged into his amazing desktop headphone amp. The Denon’s ($329 on Amazon) are the best headphones I’ve ever listened with. Plugging them into his headphone amp, though, took things to another level of awesome. His amp is pricey ($850), but clearly worth it if you have the money. There’s also a more affordable amp for $150, that, according to Justin, is 90% as good as the more expensive model.
I’ve been listening to various albums all day with these: Pinkerton, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, The College Dropout, and the rest of my library on shuffle. I’m ordering these headphones, and the $150 amp, and I sort of don’t want to listen to any music until they arrive.
